Fire hits portion of a mountain in Oriental Mindoro

Fire hit part of a mountain in the town of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro.

According to a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, the incident happened near a residential area in Barangay Proper Tiguisan.

No one was reported hurt and authorities are still determining the cause of the fire.

Meanwhile, fire also broke out on a mountain in Guinobatan, Albay.

Local firefighters had a hard time putting it out immediately because the area was not accessible to the fire trucks.
