Agwawan beach in Bataan re-opened for the public

The public are allowed to swim at the Agwawan beach in Mariveles, Bataan, according to a report on Unang Balita.

The stretch of beach is part of the Manila Bay.

According to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the level of coliform bacteria, which comes from animal and human feces. is now at 100 MPN or most probable number.

The value is within the limit set by the agency for bodies of water where public activities are allowed.
