52-year-old dies while at polling center in Davao City


A 52-year-old voter died due to cardiac arrest at a polling precinct in Davao City.

According to a report by Ian Cruz in GMA's 24 Oras on Monday, resident Eduardo Belauro showed up as early as 6 a.m. at Matina Pangi Elementary School to cast his vote.

Unfortunately, he did not get the chance to hold his ballot after he collapsed.

The emergency response team of the barangay immediately assisted Belauro but he was declared dead on arrival in the hospital.

According to Belauro's family, he has long been suffering from heart disease.
