2 dead in Pavia, Iloilo due to dengue
The number of dengue cases in southern Iloilo has risen dramatically, with two locals from Pavia town having died from the disease, GMA News TV program Balitanghali reported on Saturday.
More than 100 dengue cases have been reported in the area, and according to Iloilo's health office, more than 3,000 dengue cases were reported in the province since the January.
This was 700 percent increase in the number of dengue cases, the health office pointed out.
