Kidapawan student who fell from 3rd floor now safe —school exec


KIDAPAWAN CITY —A Grade 7 Kidapawan City National High School student who fell from the 3rd Floor of a building in the campus last Friday is now in stable condition, a school official said.

City Schools Division Superintendent Romelito Flores confirmed last Saturday that female student is now safe at the Kidapawan Doctor’s Hospital.

Flores said the victim who got fractures in her legs, arms, and having bruises in several parts of the body is complaining of back aches.

“We will extend all assistance to the victim,” Flores said.

A student who supposedly witnessed the incident claimed the victim was  doing a "selfie shoot" near the fire exit when she accidentally fell.

Another student claimed that their teacher asked the victim  to place the flowerpots near the fire exit so the plants could catch rainwater.

The school administration has not yet issued statement on the incident.

However, Flores said a thorough investigation on the matter is ongoing. —LBG, GMA News
