Nueva Ecija cops gun down 3 alleged drug dealers

Nueva Ecija police narcotics officers gunned down three alleged drug dealers in separate operations in Talavera, Laur, and Cabanatuan, GMA News' Joseph Morong reported Saturday on Balitanghali.

In each case, police officers claimed that the suspects had resisted arrest.

However, the suspects' families denied their relatives were involved in illegal drugs.

These latest drug deaths took place even as two dozen countries formally called for a United Nations investigation into thousands of killings in Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs. — DVM, GMA News
