Giant sperm whale found beached in Caramoan, Camarines Sur

A giant sperm whale was found beached in Caramoan, Camarines Sur on Friday morning.

The dead whale ended up on the shore in Barangay Tabgon.

Fishermen and residents found the whale in the mangrove.

Residents said they saw the whale swimming near the shore on Thursday.

Authorities were already informed about the beached whale.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources will proceed to the area on Saturday and conduct an investigation into the incident. —KG, GMA News
