19-year-old college student brutally killed in Iloilo
A 19-year-old woman from Iloilo suffered a brutal death at the hands of her own kin, according to a Monday report by James Agustin for Saksi.
College student Ronalyn Bravio went to a bazaar in Janiuay town in Iloilo. Afterwards, she was seen lifeless in a field, naked with her hands tied together with her own bra.
An investigation by authorities found that she was hit in the head and stabbed in the stomach.
The suspects are Bravio’s 40-year-old cousin and his son.
He initially denied any involvement in the crime but eventually confessed to committing the crime.
However, authorities later found out that the suspect’s son was also involved in the rape-slay case.
After raping the victim, the elder suspect planned to bury the body but failed to do so.
The grieving father of the victim said they had caught the suspect secretly peeping at his daughter and his other children multiple times.
The suspect will face charges of rape with homicide. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BAP, GMA News
