Quezon province cancels sea travels to, from island towns due to storm
Quezon province's local government has canceled all sea trips to and from its island municipalities as precautionary measure amid Storm Ramon's threat.
All passenger vessels, regularly traveling to and from the ports of Atimonan, Gumaca, and Real have been ordered to stay anchored.


Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 has been raised over seven areas as Tropical Depression Ramon intensified into tropical storm before noon Wednesday.
State weather bureau PAGASA's 11 a.m. severe weather bulletin indicated that areas under TCWS No.1 include:
- Eastern Samar
- Northern Samar
- Catanduanes
- Camarines Sur
- Camarines Norte
- Albay
- Sorsogon
At 10 a.m. Wednesday, Ramon was spotted at 385 kilometers east-northeast of Borongan City, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 80 kph and was moving west northwest at 20 kph. —LBG, GMA News
