Tuguegarao school suspends classes as floodwaters swamp classrooms

Classes at a high school in Tuguegarao City were recently suspended after floodwaters from continuous rain swamped its classrooms, GMA News’s Balitanghali reported on Tuesday.

Students of Tuguegarao National High School encountered knee-deep floodwaters at the school, and were advised to go home for their safety.

The flood subsided around nighttime.

According to PAGASA, there is no tropical cyclone in the country, however, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan is bringing rain to Cagayan and Isabela. — Joviland Rita/BM, GMA News
