Masbate town vice mayor killed in sniper attack

An unidentified sniper shot dead the vice mayor of Dimasalang town in Masbate province in Bicol Friday afternoon, radio dzBB reported. Killed instantly was vice mayor Regolo Moran, even as two employees of his office were also shot and were in critical condition as of Friday evening. The report did not immediately name the two employees. Sketchy initial reports showed Moran was in his office when he was shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but it was too late for doctors to save him.- GMANews.TV
