Three drug suspects killed in San Jose Del Monte buy-bust operation


Three suspected drug personalities were killed during an anti-illegal drugs operation in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Sunday night.

Police on Monday identified the suspects as Jay-ar Borromeo, who was included in the drug watch list of the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and alias Liit and alias Jr.

Authorities said the buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay San Manuel resulted in an encounter after the suspects had noticed that they were transacting with an undercover operative.

The suspects fired shots at the police, prompting the latter to retaliate.

During the operation, police were able to recover one caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson with serial number 801948 loaded with three pieces fired cartridge cases, one live ammunition, one improvised shotgun (sumpak) loaded with one 12-gauge shot shell, one improvised hand gun ( sumpak) loaded with one fired cartridge case of caliber .38, a P500 buy-bust money, 30 transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, thirteen fired cartridges cases of cal. 9MM, a black coin purse containing one piece live ammunition of caliber .38 and one Kawasaki Barako without plate number.

The bodies of the suspects were brought to Faith Funeral Homes for autopsy.
