Grade 10 student, amid bullying by classmates, accidentally stabs friend

A Grade 10 student in Liloan town, Cebu accidentally stabbed a friend who came to her aid as she was being bullied, according to a report on Unang Balita.

The 17-year-old suspect related that she was trying to fight off her classmates who were always bullying her.

It came to a point that the suspect said she grabbed a balisong.

However, instead of stabbing the bullies, she accidentally stabbed her male friend who was trying to pacify the group.

Her friend died from the stab wound.

The family of the suspect is now trying to raise money for the bail bond. The suspect is currently facing a charge of homicide. — BAP, GMA News
