Pampanga gov't to ask Clark airport to reject int'l flights amid COVID-19

The provincial government of Pampanga will appeal to the Clark International Airport to deny international flights to avoid transmission of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday.

Governor Dennis Pineda said that the local government will put the entire Clark Freeport Zone under quarantine if they refuse to do so. Foreigners will have to undergo 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

Pineda also requested for the utility service providers to extend the deadline for their customers to pay bills. --Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
