Tondo street on lockdown after resident tests positive for COVID-19
A street in Tondo, Manila has been put on lockdown after a resident there reportedly tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Isa Avendano-Umali reported on Super Radyo dzBB on Wednesday.
Interviewed during the report, Edgardo Tria, chairman of Barangay 69, said Hernandez Street houses eight families consisting of 43 individuals.

"Nasa day two na kami ng quarantine kaya lahat ng pangangailangan nila pino-provide ng barangay para hindi na sila kailangan lumabas," Tria said.
Tria said the affected resident is confined at the Manila Doctor's Hospital.
He said the wife of the patient confirmed to them that her husband has tested positive for COVID-19, though it was unclear is he was already included in the official Department of Health (DOH) list.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the DOH tally of infected individuals is at 193 with 14 deaths. --KBK, GMA News
