Cebu City reports 25 new COVID-19 cases; total now 476


Cebu City recorded an additional 25 coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases, bringing the city’s total infection to 476, Mayor Edgar Labella said Monday.

 

Labella, in a Facebook post, said all of the new cases came from Sitio Callejon in Barangay Labangon.

He said the patients were immediately transferred to the barangay isolation center in Labangon Elementary School for quarantine and treatment by the Cebu City Health Department.

Labella said the city government already disinfected Katipunan, Labangon and other areas to prevent the spread of the virus.

Nationwide, COVID-19 has already infected a total of 7,579. 501 of whom have died, while 862 have recovered. --Ma. Angelica Garcia/KBK, GMA News
