Bataan old capitol building to be converted into temporary hospital for non-COVID-19 patients

The old capitol building of Bataan will be converted into a temporary hospital for patients who do not have COVID-19.

Non-COVID-19 patients will be transferred from the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center to the old capitol building, so that COVID-19 patients could exclusively use the hospital, according to a GMA News COVID-19 Bulletin on Wednesday.

The Bataan LGU and the hospital management have already inspected the old capitol building.

Bataan Governor Albert Garcia also asked employees working at the old capitol building to transfer to the new Bataan Provincial Capitol.

Meanwhile, 10 children who are undergoing therapy at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center will be transferred to a Catholic chapel in Balanga City to continue their medication. —Jamil Santos/LDF, GMA News
