Magnitude 4.8 quake hits Zambales —PHIVOLCS
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit Zambales on Wednesday at 8:28 a.m., according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

In a bulletin, PHIVOLCS said the epicenter of the tectonic earthquake was located at seven kilometers northwest of Cabangan, Zambales.
Intensity IV was felt in San Felipe, Zambales, while Intensity III in Quezon City and Malabon City, the PHIVOLCS said.
The depth of focus was measured at 55 kilometers, it added.
PHIVOLCs noted that no damage and aftershock are expected due to the earthquake. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
