COVID-19 testing lab in Bulacan, named after late Bocaue mayor, launched
Guiguinto, Bulacan Mayor Ambrosio "Boy" Cruz on Monday said a testing facility, named after late Bocaue Mayor Joni Villanueva, was inaugurated last week as part of the efforts of the province to curb COVID-19.
Cruz, who is also the president of the league of municipal mayors in Bulacan, said the testing center can conduct at least 1,500 tests daily.
Cruz said the Joni Villanueva Molecular Laboratory would be operational beginning Wednesday.
In a Facebook post of CIBAC partylist, it said that Villanueva was the one who initiated the establishment of the said facility.

Meanwhile, Cruz said Guiguinto town also has its own quarantine facilities for COVID-19 patients.
"Ang capacity po nito ay 40. Dalawa po 'yung lugar namin, isang 25, isang 15," Cruz said.
