Bohol officials probe killing of businessman in Loon town

TAGBILARAN CITY — Authorities are investigating the killing of a businessman and cyclist in Loon town, Bohol to determine the motive and to identify the suspects.

Unidentified gunmen shot and killed 51-year-old Nestor Caracar, a resident of Barangay Tawala in Panglao town, while traversing the national highway in Barangay Pondol in Loon town last Sunday, September 6.

Police Corporal Dave Vincent Solon, the investigator at Loon police station, said the incident happened at around 12:05 p.m.

Caracar, who was alone, died on the spot, police reported.
