Baguio flower farmers lament closure of cemeteries during Undas
Flower farmers in Baguio on Friday lamented the closure of all cemeteries in the country from October 29 to November 4, saying this may result in the lack of customers during the Undas season.
According to Jonathan Andal’s report on “24 Oras,” flower farmers found it unfortunate that the closure of cemeteries came near the harvest season.
Similar to what they did in March, the farmers said they may be forced to dispose the flowers due to the lack of buyers.
All private and public cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums nationwide were ordered close from October 29 to November 4 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019.
