2 churches in Tabaco City, Albay among structures damaged amid Rolly onslaught
Two churches are among the infrastructure that was damaged as Super Typhoon Rolly barrelled through the Bicol Region over the weekend, according to a post on the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) website.
The roof over the altar of the San Antonio Church in Tabaco City, Albay caved in but the religious images remained intact, based on the photos taken by Fr. Rex Paul Arjona.

The nearby St. John the Baptist Church was also damaged. The photos show the extent of damage on the roof of the church.

According to the Office of Civil Defense in Region V, the Department of Public Works and Highways reported that the cost of damage to infrastructure reached more than P4.6 billion and this included national roads, bridges, and flood control. -- BAP, GMA News
