Bohol records 52 new COVID-19 cases
TAGBILARAN City —The province of Bohol recorded on Friday 52 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and two fatalities.
Twenty-four of the new infections came from Tagbilaran City.
As of November 27, there were 671 confirmed COVID-19 infections in the province, 569 recoveries, 88 active cases, and 14 deaths.
In a virtual press conference, provincial planning and development officer John Titus Vistal said the first fatality was an 81-year-old female, who was admitted at the Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital in Ubay town, and had a final diagnosis of septic shock due to infected wounds secondary to confirmed COVID-19 infection.
The second fatality was a 64-year-old female from Panglao town who died of nonproductive cough, acute renal failure secondary to acquired pneumonia while admitted at Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital.—Leo Udtohan/LDF, GMA News
