Quezon town unveils Christmas tree, nativity scene made from recycled materials
The lighting of a giant Christmas tree and Nativity scene made of recycled materials was conducted in the town of San Antonio in Quezon province amid a fireworks display on Monday.
The event was attended by the townsfolk and government officials.

The tree, which is about 20 feet tall and filled with lights and decor, and the Nativity scene were made from about 35,000 pieces of plastic bottles collected by the 20 barangays in San Antonio
The activity, local officials said, is aimed to showcase environmental conservation through recycling as the Nativity scene is a symbol of hope amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
