332 foreigners allegedly without working visas nabbed in Bamban, Tarlac
Three hundred thirty-two foreigners were arrested by authorities on Wednesday last week after they were found allegedly working without the necessary visas.
The foreigners were allegedly involved in online gambling, Internet fraud and other cybercrimes, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.
Arrested were eight Malaysians, one Indonesian, and the rest are Chinese.
Operatives from the Bureau of Immigration and National Bureau of Investigation made the arrest.
The BI said the foreigners face deportation due to violation of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940.
Authorities are preparing the charges to be filed against their alleged recruiter.
The arrested foreigners did not give any statement to media. —KG, GMA News
