Korean porn operator nabbed in Pampanga

A Korean national was arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for alleged sexual exploitation, prostitution and for running a porn site in South Korea while living in the Philippines.

According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, the Korean national was apprehended by operatives of the BI Fugitive Search Unit in Angeles City, Pampanga.

“Our operatives went on through several surveillance operations and conducted some casing and stakeout. Fortunately, the subject appeared in the target area and right there and then, he was apprehended by our operatives on the ground,” BI Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) chief Bob Raquepo said.

Meanwhile, BI operatives together with several Korean police have also arrested a 57-year-old woman in Ortigas.

“She falsified several documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission in order for her to control a company. She is also involved in extortion so she has also been charged for extorting a fellow Korean national belonging to the same company,” Raquepo said.

Further, the BI FSU also nabbed a French national who has no record of entry in the Philippines but ships cocaine to France.

The foreigner’s two accomplices were also arrested.

“The French national subject is one of the high value targets because of his involvement in narcotics smuggling. He has established certain connections within the Philippines and that is more reason that we have to get rid of him here because of the possibility of him committing the same offenses that he committed in his country of origin,” Raquepo said.
