Aurora fisherman who lost house, boat during Typhoon Ulysses receives help from Kapuso Foundation

A fisherman in Aurora who lost his house and boat due to the wrath of Typhoon Ulysses is starting over again thanks to the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Greggy Nojas, 48, is one of the beneficiaries of the Silong Kapuso Program.

The father of three was able to build a house and get his own boat from his income as a fisherman, but he lost both when Typhoon Ulysses hit the country in November.

With the help of the Philippine Army and sponsors, he and other residents of Dingalan, Aurora received galvanized iron sheets so they can rebuild their homes.

Over 1,200 houses were destroyed and 941 boats were damaged by Ulysses in Dingalan last year.

—MGP, GMA News
