3 killed, 7 nabbed in Antipolo shootout over land dispute

Three people were killed while seven others were arrested following a shootout that allegedly stemmed from a land dispute at Barangay San Jose in Antipolo, Rizal.

Video footage provided by the Antipolo Police showed the victims already lying bloodied on the pavement, according to a "24 Oras" report by Emil Sumangil on Friday.

Authorities recovered guns, bullets and two-way radios from the suspects.

According to the wife of one of the victims, the gunfight started following a land dispute.

Other than denying involvement in the crime, those nabbed refused to give further statements.

The suspects are facing three counts of murder. -Jamil Santos/MDM, GMA News
