Man nabbed for rape of 15-year-old in Bulacan; suspect says they're in love

A man was arrested in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the victim's aunt filed a complaint at the barangay on Tuesday.

The suspect, identified as Junior Mahusay, said his arrest was a set-up, stressing that he and the victim are in love.

The suspect added the victim's family was against their relationship.

SJDM police chief Police Major Julius Alvaro said the suspect will still face charges of rape and child abuse.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
