Quezon Gov. Suarez tests positive for COVID-19

Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez said Thursday he tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a Facebook post, Suarez, 78, said he underwent a routine RT-PCR test on May 5 and received the result Thursday morning.

He said he is feeling well so far and his doctors are monitoring his condition.

Suarez urged the people who had a close contact with him in the past days to undergo a self-quarantine and monitor themselves for any symptoms.—AOL, GMA News
