Occupancy rate of GenSan COVID-19 referral hospitals at 96%; ICU beds at 100% —LGU

The local government unit of General Santos City reported that the occupancy rate of its COVID-19 referral hospitals rose to 96%, while the occupancy rate of intensive care unit (ICU) beds was already at 100%.

The LGU data was as of Friday, June 4, according to a News TV Live report on Saturday.

Also as of 7 p.m. on June 4, a total of 658 out of 4,032 COVID-19 cases in the city were active, while 90 cases have recovered, totalling to 3,245 recovered cases.

General Santos City was placed under general community quarantine up to June 30.

The Philippines’ tally of COVID-19 cases climbed to 1,255,337 on Friday after the Department of Health reported 7,450 new infections. —Jamil Santos/KG, GMA News
