PDEA operatives destroy over P20M worth of marijuana plants
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Thursday discovered and destroyed more than P20 million worth of marijuana plants in Tinglayan, Kalinga.

According to Glen Juego’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, PDEA operatives destroyed around 87,000 fully grown marijuana plants in eight plantation sites in the area.
The site had an estimated land area of 8,000 square meters.
Based on information from the PDEA Central Office, the PDEA unit and the Tinglayan Police conducted a two-day operation before discovering the plantation sites.
Authorities also discovered 22 kilos of dried marijuana leaves. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LBG, GMA News
