Cops, neighbors rescue family after landslide in Getafe, Bohol

Several members of a family were rescued after their house was destroyed in a landslide in the town of Getafe in Bohol, according to a report on "Saksi" on Monday. 

Policemen and residents helped dig up around the area where the landslide occurred.

A man was rescued as well as his line-in partner and their five-year-old child. they suffered from minor injuries.

Authorities said the soil in the area may have been loosened by incessant rains in the past few days. -- BAP, GMA News
