Child seen running out of burning building in Lanao del Norte

Residents in Kolambugan in Lanao del Norte were surprised when a child ran out of a burning building, according to a report on "Saksi" on Thursday.

In the video, a woman can be heard shouting "Bata!"

She was referring to the child who went out of a burning building.

The child seemed unharmed and had attempted to return to the building. But the neighbors prevented the child from doing so.

At least four establishments were affected by the fire that lasted for about four hours.

The estimate cost of damage to property was pegged at P2 million.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.  -- BAP, GMA News
