5 hurt, 1,000 residents left homeless in Cebu City fire

Five individuals were injured, while at least 1,000 residents lost their homes after a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Friday.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that at least 300 houses and establishments were damaged, according to the 24 Oras weekend report on Saturday.

Residents have appealed for help as most of their belongings were damaged in the fire.
