166 wanted persons nabbed over Christmas holidays in Project Paskulong
More than 100 wanted people were arrested during the Police Regional Office 10's "Project Paskulong," which went after "priority targets" in the province.
According to John Consulta's "24 Oras" report, the Regional Special Operations Unit arrested 166 most wanted persons in Region 10, mostly involved in murder cases, during the holidays.
A man with an arrest warrant for murder was also finally arrested by police six years since the crime was committed.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Vic Cabatingan, chief of Regional Special Operations Unit in Region 10, the suspects were nabbed through cooperation of the police with communities.
"Since December 1 hanggang matapos ang taon, marami tayong nahuli dahil sa pakikipagtulungan ng sambayanan at kapulisan," said Cabatingan.
