Isko’s wife joins Manila’s relief ops in Odette-hit areas

With her husband, presidential aspirant and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, busy addressing the COVID-19 situation in the city, Dynee Domagoso took charge of relief efforts in areas devastated by Typhoon Odette.

On Friday, Dynee joined volunteers in distributing goods to the families affected by the typhoon in Southern Leyte, Cebu, Surigao del Norte and Palawan.

The relief mission is part of Manila's initiative to extend help to families who lost homes and livelihood due to the calamity.

“Personal ko pong gustong makita ang inyong kalagayan at napakasuwerte ko po dahil kahit papano nasa maayos kayong kundisyon,” Dynee said.

In Barangay Tampoong, Sogod town and Barangay Cabulihan in Maasin, both in Southern Leyte, thousands of residents lined up to receive the relief packs from the Manila city government.

Dynee was welcomed by Sogod Mayor Emi Tan and joined her in inspecting the damaged sea wall in Barangay Tampoong.

Earlier, Dynee went to Bohol and Antique to turn over relief goods including food packs and bottled water to affected residents as part of Operation Tabang of Team Isko Moreno, the city government said.
