Delayed trips to Baguio City irks 300 passengers
About 300 passengers flared up on Saturday due to the delay in the arrival of buses that would being them to Baguio City for the Panagbenga festival. Q-TV reported that many passengers at the Victory Liner terminal in Cubao, Quezon City lost their temper after they kept waiting for the buses. "I'll make a campaign against your office. Masisira kayo tingnan ninyo. Regular commuter ako ng Baguio (I'll make a campaign against your office, your reputation will be ruined. I'm a regular commuter to Baguio)," an irate passenger told personnel at the ticketing office. Other passengers said they waited six hours at the terminal. Still, others said they booked their trips two weeks in advance, and even stayed in hotels near the bus station, for them not to miss the trip. The Victory Liner management said the buses were delayed because of a traffic jam in Tarlac province. It also said four of its buses had problems with their brakes. The buses arrived before dawn and eventually accommodated the passengers, the report said. - GMANews.Tv
