OCTA: Iloilo City remains under 'very high' risk for COVID-19
Independent OCTA Research group on Friday reported that Iloilo City has remained under “very high” risk for COVID-19 while six highly-urbanized cities in Visayas improved to “high” risk as of February 3, 2022.
On Twitter, OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David shared data showing Iloilo City with 60.45% average daily attack rate, 1.08 reproduction number, 71% healthcare utilization rate, and 32% positivity rate.
“Bacolod, Cebu City, Lapu Lapu, Mandaue, Ormoc and Tacloban at high risk while Iloilo City still at very high risk as of February 3. Downtrends observed in all HUCs,” he said.

Among these cities, Bacolod has the highest reproduction number at 1.11, while Ormoc has the highest positivity rate at 67%.
These cities have been placed under Alert Level 2 from February 1 to 15, 2022.
On Thursday, the Department of Health reported 8,702 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total infections to 3,585,461. Of which, 153,335 are still active cases. —LBG, GMA News
