San Fernando, Cebu barangay councilor, husband shot dead inside home

A barangay councilor from San Fernando town in Cebu and her husband were shot dead inside their home, according to a report on "Saksi."

In the report of GMA Balitang Bisdak, initial investigation showed that the armed suspects entered the house of the victims while they were preparing for their dinner.

The gunmen shot and killed Maria Louella and Peter Baringui-an.

The police are looking into the angles of business, politics, and personal conflicts as the possible motives for the killing. -- BAP, GMA News
