Couple, 2 children in Zamboanga del Sur found with slit throats

A couple and two of their children were found with slit throats in the town of Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur, according to a report on "Saksi."

Based on the initial result of an investigation, the father was fetching water when he was attacked by a still unidentified suspect.

The suspect then entered the house of the victim and proceeded to slash the throats of is wife and two children aged five and seven.

The only survivor of the massacre is the couple's one-year-old child.

The police are conducting an investigation to identify the suspect and the motive behind the killings. -- BAP, GMA News
