Authorities destroy P100M worth of illegal drugs using crematorium in Cebu City

Around P100 million worth of illegal drugs went up in smoke after authorities destroyed them using a crematorium.

The illegal drugs were fed into a thermal machine of a crematorium owned by a funeral parlor in Cebu City, according to a report by At Home with GMA Regional TV host Cyril Chaves on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

The said drugs were recovered by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Philippine National Police in separate operations and were used as evidence in court. —KG, GMA News
