CamSur officials take oath before Robredo

Local officials of Camarines Sur took their oath of office before Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday.

In photos provided by the Office of the Vice President, Robredo is seen administering the oath of Camarines Sur lawmaker Gabriel Bordado and Canaman, Camarines Sur Councilor Larry Nico Basmayor in her Quezon City office.

During the oathtaking, Robredo wore pink, which she used as campaign color in the 2022 presidential race.

Present during the ceremony were families and supporters of Bordado and Basmayor.

Robredo's home province is Camarines Sur.

Prior to Bordado's election as representative of Camarines Sur in 2016, it was Robredo who occupied his seat.

Bordado's victory in the 2022 polls marks his third consecutive and last term as Camarines Sur Third District representative.

Robredo, who lost the 2022 presidential polls, plans to launch Angat Buhay non-government organization by July 1 in an effort to consolidate efforts of her campaign volunteers who would want to help those in need.—LDF, GMA News
