Single mom raped, robbed, stabbed several times by cousin in Cavite

A 26-year-old single mother was stabbed several times, raped, and robbed at her home in Cavite by her cousin.

According to Emil Sumangil’s report on “24 Oras”, Leslie suffered almost nine stab wounds in different parts of her body after her cousin robbed and tried to kill her past 10 p.m. pm May 30.

Leslie said found the suspect hiding under the sink. The victim pleaded to the suspect to leave but he refused.

“Pinablock na niya po [yung pintuan], doon na kami nag-agawan na ginaganun ganun ko yung padlock, tas ginaganun niya rin sir, doon na ako kinabahan,” Leslie said.

(He wanted to block the door. That was the time we both reached for the padlock. While I opened it, he refused. That is when I got scared.)

The suspect held a knife at her.

However, the victim recorded the incident on her cellphone.

She asked for help from her other relatives which led to the suspect to stab her.

“Pinagtanggol ko talaga yung sarili ko. Habang sinusuntok niya ako, sinasaksak niya ako. Atras ako nang atras,” she said.

(I really defended myself. While he was punching me, he was also stabbing me. I continued to move back.)

When the suspect heard that someone was coming into the house, he immediately fled.
