Robredo's office delivers relief in ashfall-hit Sorsogon town


Relief goods from the Office of Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday reached Juban, Sorsogon which experienced ashfall from Bulusan Volcano.

Robredo, in a statement posted on her Facebook, said her team arrived in the morning and started relief operations in the town.

Seen in photos were bottled water and face masks, among others.

"Thank you to Mayor Tony Alindogan and Bgy Capt Elizabeth Balaguer for the assistance," Robredo said.

"Thank you also to Governor Chiz Escudero for welcoming our team," Robredo added.

At least 14 hikers and four guides have been rescued so far following Bulusan Volcano's phreatic eruption.—LDF, GMA News
