Operatives from the Cavite Police Provincial Office seized over P49 million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Dasmariñas City, Cavite on June 8.

In a statement, Cavite police chief Colonel Arnold Abad said the operation also led to the arrest of two alleged high-value targets, ages 39 and 22.

Abad said they were nabbed after selling a pack of suspected shabu to undercover police in Barangay Datu Esmael around 4:30 p.m.

Confiscated from their possession were about 7 kilos of suspected shabu in 18 pieces tied-knot sachets and seven Chinese tea bag plastics with an estimated street value of P47,600,000; a bundle of 1,000 bill with 49 P1,000 boodle money; and a backpack.

Also, authorities seized some 200 grams of shabu worth P1.36 million and arrested two other suspects, a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman.

Police nabbed them in Barangay H-2 in Dasmariñas City at 3 p.m.

The four suspects are now in police custody and would face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — Mel Matthew Doctor/BM, GMA News
