Bodies of 2 women recovered from Agno River

Authorities on Friday recovered the bodies of two women from the Agno River in Pangasinan's San Carlos City, according to a report by GMA News’ Clair Lacanilao.

Victims Abegail Rachelle Peralta, 19, and Analyn Cosme, 18, were found floating in the portion of the river near Barangay Guelew.

Peralta is a resident of Barangay Nagsaing in the town of Calasiao while Cosme lives in Barangay Libas in San Carlos City.

Acting provincial police office PIO Police Major Ria Tacderan, said they are still waiting for the results of the post mortem examination of the victims’ bodies.

"Hinihintay natin yung post mortem examination kasi mula naman doon sa ika-conduct nila na post mortem ay malalaman natin doon kung ang sanhi nga ba ng pagkamatay ay dahil sa pagkalunod or makikita doon kung patay na ba sila bago pa itinapon," said Tacderan.
