Boyfriend stabbed, girlfriend raped as camping turns tragic in Boac

A 21-year-old man was killed while his 17-year-old girlfriend was wounded and raped after a lone suspect attacked them while they were out camping in Boac, Marinduque.

According to a report on Balitang Southern Tagalog, the attack happened before 2 a.m. on Friday in Barangay Ihatub.

The girlfriend told the police that the suspect went inside their tent and stabbed his boyfriend.

She fled but the suspect caught up with her and raped her.  She also suffered a stab wound.

The suspect also took with him the couple's money and cellphone.

Authorities have asked the public for information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect. —NB, GMA News
