19-year-old arrested in Cebu for cyber pornography

A 19-year-old man suspected to be an operator of cyber pornography was arrested in Cebu City, according to a report on "Saksi" on Monday.

According to the report of Super Radyo Cebu, the NBI said the suspect recruits minors to perform obscene acts in exchange for a large amount of money.

Confiscated from the house of the suspect were equipment used to produce obscene acts online.

The suspect has not issued a statement on charges filed against him that include Anti-Trafficking in Person Act and Anti-Child Pornography Act.

The authorities, meanwhile, rescued a boy during a follow-up operation. -- BAP, GMA News
