19-year-old motorcycle rider killed in collision with car in Pangasinan

A 19-year-old student was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.

According to Russel Simorio's report on GMA Regional TV "Balitang Amianan" on Friday, the CCTV footage in Brgy. Alipangpang showed the victim was about to turn onto the other side of a road when an SUV hit him.

Due to the force of the collision, the victim was thrown away several meters.  He was pronounced dead on arrival at the local hospital.

The driver of the car is currently under police custody and will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
